"...in addition, I also used my old friends at AI Effects, who had previously done work for me on From the Earth to the Moon and Noah's Ark. They're always reliable and cost-effective, and for Dune delivered around 116 shots, including the "Weirding Way" effect, a lot of first-rate compositing, all the muzzle blast animation (we did not have functioning firearms on set), and some particularly tricky articulate rotoscoping. I suspect we'll be seeing a lot of one another on future projects."
