My New ImageFX HowTo's

Boing! Boing! Boing!   Because MOS uses PNG icons, I was asked to write a tutorial on how one makes icons using an Amiga/MOS paint program. So I made and uploaded this PDF of How To make PNG icons using ImageFX4.5 (And it's turned out to be a big hit!) I've updated this to version 1.1
Boing! Boing! Boing!   My next HowTo explains how to use the Gif Saver Module in ImageFX . There still seems be people who aren't sure how to do this properly! No need to fear! cecilia to the rescue!

Boing! Boing! Boing!  Next up is my HowTo use the KeyFrame Manager in ImageFX4.5
This is a basic "KeyFrame 101" type of introduction. It's so we can all become familiar with it's various buttons and processes. Later HowTo's can explore different projects.

Miscellaneous Projects.

Here is an Xmas picture done at LiquidBit's request. He sent me a fairly typical Christmas picture but wanted me to substitute Pegasus for reindeer. Which I did.
Don't be blue!   Tokai asked me for "palettes" for his project, Euph0ria 0.24. A Visual plug-in for AmiNetRadio, Kaya or AmigaAMP used on MorphOS/ PowerPC. So I sent him several RGB gradients.  Here's the story on MorphZone While I don't really understand how he uses the RGB values I send him, this is one of those happy collaborations between Programmer and Artist that I enjoy so much! I continue to send him more palettes.
Don't be blue!   Click on the pic and see a screen grab of the templates I have made for use with the program "ShowGirls". Get the Templates here . I used IFX4.5 to make all the images. I really like this program and I hope someday a version can be made for OS4.
Don't be blue!   2004/6/11, Jupp3 uploads example of puzzle image. He's been working on a Puzzle Game that works on MOS and AmigaOS. I have provided several Images for this. I've made sure during my beta testing that the images are sufficiently complex to make the game interesting. I got involved with this because this is the sort of game I like and had an idea for such a game a long time ago. I'm just not a programmer.

Don't be blue!   2005/6/5, MOS has a very nice calendar called April. I decided to make several background images for it. I used fractal images that I had made using ZoneXplorer (what else!).

PNG Icons and WB Backgrounds

Boing! Boing! Boing!   Eventually, I downloaded PowerIcons which lets you use PNG Icons on an Amiga or Amiga emulation. I tried this and really liked the results. So, naturally, I had to make My own PNG icons. They were made in ImageFX4.5 using fractals made from ZoneXplorer.
And here is a Picture of my PNG icons That comes in the set available at MorphZone.
Boing! Boing! Boing!   Because I love my DOpus Magellan, I made myself a PNG Icon for the program that I could use on the Pegasus (or any Amiga with PowerIcons).
Boing! Boing! Boing!   I also made a PNG Icon for songplayer.
Boing! Boing! Boing!   Always guilty of bad taste I made a saddam PNG icon done as a joke after he was captured so close to Christmas. Because we live in these Ultra-Conservative-Anal-Retentive Times, my Saddam icon had "mysteriously" disappeared from the original link. So, I've put it on this site. If the PNG image shows up on your browser you can right-click to download. I actually tested this and I can see it using IBrowse, AWeb, and Voyager on OS3.9 WinUAE.
You can also get by this link here. Once on your Pegasos or Amiga with PowerIcons just change the name to
If I remember, the first things I made and uploaded to MorphZone was these Workbench/Ambient backgrounds made with fractal program ZoneXplorer. This program makes the most beautiful fractals I've ever seen on my Amiga/WinUAE emulation. And I eventually got it to work on the Pre-April Pegasos I happen to have.
My new Flower Backgrounds. These are digital pictures that I have taken and then altered using ImageFX, or sometimes GIMP. At the moment I am making them 1024x768. Plus, I am also creating flower PNG icons that can be used with these backgrounds! More on this later!!!
As I have been uploading some pictures to the NovaDesign site I might as well list these also. So far these are from photos I've taken and then processed in some way. Generally, I try to keep the effects subtle, but I'm sure there will be a few exceptions now and then. Just visit every once in a while.
Boing! Boing! Boing!   Don't be left out! ZoneXplorer and PowerIcons can be downloaded from here. ZoneXplorer comes in a version for Amiga (and emulated Amigas) as well as a version for MOS. PowerIcons are only for GFX card supported Amigas (and emulations). MOS already supports PNG icons naturally. Any PNG icons I've made work on both my Amiga and MOS systems.
Boing! Boing! Boing!   I've started uploading Workbench BackGround's on AmigaWorld for use with OS4. Although, feel free to use them anywhere! On any system. Most, if not all will say "AmigaOne OS4", which is why I'm uploading these to the AmigaWorld site.

Boing! Boing! Boing!   2005/6/14, Made a bunch of PNG icons which are all various guitars, some historical. I've also uploaded them to Aminet.

Boing! Boing! Boing!   2005/10/11, Made and uploaded to Aminet a set of Flowers converted to PNG icons.
